Well, Finally finished the first Phenix Proto Type. It is the 7'1" Heavy action. The blank weighed 1.96 oz and the finished rod came in at 3.81 oz. Sure I could have made it lighter but as Vince stated "Holy Cow". I had it out on Sunday and threw some Senko around. I cannot believe I was fishing a heavy action rod. It felt like I was fishing with my DS rod. Too bad I did not get to hook a fish to see how it feels. The blank felt very stiff and fast, both fits my style great. they told me July of this year. Keeping my fingers crossed. I hope it comes true and it is the begining of July.

okay this is definitely the final weights - medium heavy 2.40 oz and the medium 2.26 oz. i love both of them for pitchin' jigs and thats all i've done with them so far.
