any opinion on what rod wrap to use?

i am having a g loomis glx bass rod custom made and can't decide which color of wrap to have put on the guides?

either forest green metallic w/lime green trim
or w/ silver trim

or blue metallic w/ silver trim

any opinions would be really ! greatly appreciated.....thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

I would go with the color that closely matches the blank... and silver trim... with silver winding checks. Or, you could go with blue thread wraps... with blue winding checks.

Have you considered having it wrapped with a thread that has no color preserver? The end result is a translucent effect that lets the guides show through... neat look, especially on a custom.

Depends on what reel is going on it, what the colors of the other hardware is, what guides are being used...etc...

I typically like to design with a foundational color, a secondary color and an accent color. But that's just me.
