Phenix T-46 available yet??

When production rods are not enough, it's time to go custom. Come share your experiences building and/or ordering a custom rod and tell us if you'll ever go back to off the shelf.

Phenix T-46 available yet??

Post by white03 » Tue Jun 07, 2011 3:47 pm

Anyone know if these blanks are available yet and if so where from?

Anyone built and fished with one yet? what did you build and how do you like it?

Thank you for the help and answers guys. Waiting to get a blank and build a rod. Probably something in Heavy, Fast action and 7'3"-7'6".

Bill

Just got the update a few day ago on the new rods and blanks! Some good news and some bad news! The good news, the full line of T46 blanks will be in our warehouse by mid July and we are taking pre-orders now! The bad news, we will not be coming out with a t46 production rod as expected till next year. More good news is that the new Phenix Bass Assasin line of rods, priced around $150.00 will be making there debut this year at iCast as expected! =D> I know a lot of people were also wanting the Assasins to come out first so for some, that's probably the best news!

Thanks!

I bet it's because the 7'6" is a 5 power and the 7'3" is a 6 power.

At that price quote they are roughly equivalent to the St Croix SCV NSI. Would have expected, or maybe liked, for them to be less that the SCV.

Was planning on building 2 and am still going to have to try one....but not 2 anymore until I build and try one.

Just my 2 cents
