I have ordered from him a few times and had a few conversations with Kevin. Everything I can tell is that he is a good Christian guy and runs an honest business. I try to support him as much as I can especially over the alternatives. My only gripe is the lack of blank selection.

I would say the RX7's are the closest. I also can't stand that the more you spend at Mudwhole the more your shipping charges go up and they send it in the same box with the blanks. The selection is significantly better though. If you only like Batson, its perfect. The shipping charges are my only gripe with Mudwhole though. How much does he charge for one blanks shipping. I like the idea of the RX8's silver blank that could make some interesting options. I have never heard of this company until today. Thanks for the info BucketHunter.

Threw one blank in the bucket, only 9.95.
I almost soiled myself.
Two blanks was 12.95, 3 was 14.95

The only thing I noticed is that his prices seem high. Higher than MSRP on the RX8+ I was looking at. Utmost sells for ~ 25% below msrp.

A little while later....

Just double checked pricing on some RX8s and he's right in the same ballpark as utmost.
I think I remember hearing that the RX8+ was being discontinued. Is that whats going on here?

Nice!!! Thats pretty reasonable. what if your bill totaled $400+ do they charge based on weight or based on how many items they have to pull off the shelf and count the $$ being spent as way of jacking you shipping wise?(Mudholes way). I wish they didn't do that. Its like the better customer you are the more you have to shell out(Bad business model IMO)Just recently I spent a few dollars short of $400 and the shipping was $28.50 and only $9.50 is supposedly the over size shipping for blanks. The other $19 was because I spent a bit more. A bit unreasonable at best. However I knew that when I bought all of it, so I guess I am the dumba$$ not them.

I have to agree with you on mudholes shipping changes. What a pain in the a$$. I was going to buy a blank from them the other day. went to check out and shipping was going to be around $24 on a $75 dollar blank. Thanks, but I'll pass. If they didn't have such good selection I'd have no reason to shop there. Guess I'll just have to save up and buy 4 blanks at once.
Sorry, I guess I'm getting off topic.

i always group buy blanks were possible to spread out shipping charges...

$24 is close to actual shipping cost of a blank...

Mudwhole charges $9.50 for oversize shipping, but if you buy all of your components there that is where they get ya every $10-$20 worth of products the shipping skyrockets. There should be a cut off point when you spend acertain amount its free other than the 9.50 for the box because everything gets put in the same package.
