acid rod leave a bad taste in my mouth

Just wanted to share a recent story with you guys.

I made a order to acid rod on 1/25 I only used acid rod because us both being in ca usually makes for a real quick turn around.

Just recived my order today after calling several times everytime they assured me they were shipping the package that day.

Anyhow I recived the package and the guide set I order apparently was out of stock and I got 4 guides no tip.

pacbay seems to be having some huge backorder issues... so it might not be acid's fault (and i have never dealt with acid)

I also had a slow experience with them, but they do have a descent component selection SIC micros for $2 or were last I checked not sure what brand but nonetheless an inexpensive set of SIC guides.

Almost a month still havent recived the backordered items a refund and not a single answer to any emails this is by far the worst service on the plannet

They can get busy over there. I have never had a problem but some peeps in my crew complain. You will get your stuff bec/ Mark is a stand up guy, real question is just when....

I've had 2 really bad experiences with them as well. I don't mind waiting if something is backordered or even if they are just behind, assuming they have the common courtesy to let you know what is going on, which they didn't. The lack of communication and the failure to return emails are unacceptable. I won't do business with them anymore.

I used to buy components from them. However, I have experienced multiple backorders from them, I now email to check on the inventory prior to placing order. Last couple of emails were never replied by them! I am done with them.......

Its hard to understand how a place this sloppy stays afloat?? I hope that everyone who reads this will shop get bit swampland and mudhole instead, avoid these guys at all cost.

try calling them. Whenever I had a question about something they cleared it up over the phone for me.

I have had problems with them as well. I bought some HD EVA from them and when I received it it was just the regular kind, not the HD. I sent them an email and never got a reply...

Just start dealing with a reputable place like Mudhole. Problem solved.

I too ordered a setup back in early Nov. that I was planning on building and giving as an X-mas present. Took them 2 weeks to process my order and after inquiring it was because of a backorder. I ended up being about a month behind in getting started with it when all was said and done. Probably just order from Mudhole from now on.

They do have good selection and service though.
