Personal Rod Build - Mad-Swirl
Here's a dry fitting of a rod I'm building for myself on a bushido blank. It has my signature mad-swirl grips and seat. This will eventually get some thread in the split grip and foregrip areas. I've tweaked the photo, but the actual colors of the rod and grips/seat are true to life. I do not add the effects to them. In the sun light this has a cool ghosting effect with the basecoat I used.

A little gaudy for my taste, but I know a lot of guys that would go bonkers of a rod that. Impressive work.

Sorry about that. I stink with posting pictures on this site because of the size limits. Here is a link to my facebook page where you can see the full size. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =1&theater

I know what you mean. You either like this or you don't. There's really no in between. I like these colors for my person builds as opposed to the brighter ones. My younger crowd seems to like these a lot more than the my older customers.IlliniDawg01 wrote:A little gaudy for my taste, but I know a lot of guys that would go bonkers of a rod that.
