Replacing a reel seat

When production rods are not enough, it's time to go custom. Come share your experiences building and/or ordering a custom rod and tell us if you'll ever go back to off the shelf.

Update, the rod is finished. I had to cut around 2 inches off the old rod in order for everything to work and I went with carbon fiber instead of cork. The handle is a little the short side but I won't mind. The new reel seat is so much more comfortable than the old skeleton seat.

No bad for my first time customizing a rod... :D
