hand crafted spinnerbait (first attempt)
hand crafted spinnerbait (first attempt)
Here is my first attempt in creating a spinnerbait. It has an owner hook, and is hand tied, hand painted, and hand poured. What does everyone think?
Re: hand crafted spinnerbait (first attempt)
Your skirt colors are great! If this is your first attempt you are well on your way. You don't need so many beads to seperate the blades. Beads aren't very expensive but they do add up...trust me.
Re: hand crafted spinnerbait (first attempt)
Yea after looking at other spinnerbaits I noticed no one uses that many beads. I have actually been thinking about getting some small tubes to act as spacers, not sure how well that work. However I went to the local lake yesterday just to see how it ran and I tell you it gave off a lot of vibration and a lot of clacking for the beads and blades.

Nice, that must look fabulous in the water.

That skirt color looks like it would be a smallie killer, do you have smallies in your waters
Re: hand crafted spinnerbait (first attempt)
Nah I don't have smallies around my area, the closest place I could go would be Patoka Lake, but thats a good distance away.
