Re: Favorite Watercraft?
Considering that there are many other sites and magazines reviewing boats, I would like to see more reviews about light portable watercraft such as inflatables and innovative watercraft. Many guys even guys with boats, are leaning toward the inflatables for use on local rivers and bays where motorboats are not permitted. These are good for a couple of free hours with a friend or two without having to hitch your trailer, find a landing area, get gas, etc.

I loved the Sea Eagle reviews! Inflatables are great for those of us who travel alot. I have been looking at Hobie watercraft, any chance you guys can review one of those?

I have to say that kayaks are my favorite. Sleek and speedy with multiple functions. Fishing, touring, diving, all in one complete package!
I don't have one now but am planing on buying one this summer. I just don't know which one to get!

Re: Favorite Watercraft?
Check out my web page for my favorite watercraft. Some day soon, the North River Commander X will be mine! Then, fish will fear me!
Until then, my Creek Company inflatable pontoon boat will have to do.

Though I love fishing on my buddy's Tracker, I myself only own a Sevlor inflatable, and it sucks. Saving up for a used entry level bass boat, probabaly just a 16-17 footer.

Re: Favorite Watercraft?
I fish only in swamp or farm ponds and in small lakes. I have had a UBHII
boat for about 5 years and it has been "rode hard and put away wet" many times. IMO, it is the best 'small water' Watercraft. It weighs only 125 lbs and fits in the bed of my p/u. I can slide it out and into the water if I can get to the bank with my truck.
Here is a http://www.f150online.com/galleries/pic ... &anum=3382 pic from right after I bought it. Since then, I place the motor on the bow.

I love fishing from my kayak. Great way to exercise and fish at the same time.

Lightninrod,
Your boat looks very stable. What size electric trolling motor do you have installed on your boat?

Reno: It is stable. I stand up in the front and pitch with no worries. In fact, two adults can stand side-by-side on the gunwale(not that I'd want to ) and it won't tip over.
I use a 36 lb. thrust Minn-Kota with a 15 lb(very light for a battery) Pond Prowler battery.
