Some American company in the early 2000s had a similar seated boat. Don't remember the details but they could be had for less than $10k.

These look awesome. I want one, though I imagine they would be great in much more than 1-2ft waves.

Very nice boats for sure. I've always been attracted to the smaller boats. (Not good for many big lakes and certainly not tournaments), but plenty of off shoots and tributaries even on huge impoundments where these would work.

My current boat is a Nitro 640LX -16'8 inch w/ a 90 OPti and it's about as small as you'll find available now (and it's discontinued). Back in the 70's -80's Ouachita made a fiberglass 13"8 inch boat (as I recall) sold as a 14 footer. Many of the older boats were 15 footer and tri-hull design. Plenty of them still pop up on the used boat market for less than $1K if you don't mind some sweat equity in a renovation project.

These are quit popular down here in Florida. I was amazed at the places these things go. Everglades, Rivers, big lakes, backwaters, and bays.

Basscat was in the process of building a small bass type boat called the Bobcat but decided to cancel it. It was going to be build of the Phelix hull. Looking into finding a used Phelix and converting it into this style of boat.

Been looking into one of these for very small lakes. Making it hard to choose now...

A long time ago, one of the guys in a bass club I was in had a 15' bass boat. Fiberglass + goodies. Not a bad deal if you have smaller bodies of water BUT better suited for a one guy trip.

Stick steer all the way I think the console steering wheel would take up to much space neat little rigs . Is this what the guides use on Biwa ?

I saw that on IG. I wondered how well it would do navigating slow. Like if you were flipping.

As I get closer to finishing college or getting a better career, I want a new boat, but unless I hit the lottery or really pick up a heck of a job, a $70,000 Bass Boat is out of the question.

Right now I use a john boat but it is pretty wide and overall big. We set 6 bait casting rods on one side and 6 casting/spinning finesse rods on the other. We have plenty of room in the floor for 4 big tackle bags and keep other things in the live well.

My issue is aluminum style bass boats are hard to find with the storage for rods I am looking for. I just want to find a decent sized boat with fair storage and a motor around 50hp. At this moment I would rather just keep our old boat and add a new engine.
