The Tackle Doctor: Professional Angler Aaron Martens Details the Albright Knot
"There is no question I get asked more than how I connect my leader line to my main braided line. For that reason, our first Tackle Doctor video will be on the Albright Knot. This knot is exceptional when tying lines of different strengths, especially light lines like Sunline FC Sniper or Shooter under 10-pound test." - Aaron Martnens
Awesome! I am digging the "tackle doctor" theme!
One question, how is this knots durability when using micro guides in comparison to regular sized guides?
Get your kids hooked on fishing, and they'll never have any money for drugs or alcohol.
I've watched the video from Hi's with the finger saver rings and this knot doesn't work really well with smaller lines. It has a tendency to slip plus I had one break at the connection on me so I've switched back to my uni to uni.
After watching Aaron say he does 20+ wraps, I think I might give this a try again as I hate how bulky the uni to uni knot is.
I wonder if Aaron Martens has ever tried the Alberto knot (a.k.a. Modified Albright Knot)? One would not have to do nearly as many wraps with the Modified version. 20 wraps?!?!

X2...video is great, but I will stick with the Alberto knot for sure. Alberto plus finger saver rings makes for a nice knot. I wont use Albright nor uni-uni again anytime soon.
