Megabass's CEO-X Factor : Yuki Ito

Introduction: There are few tackle manufacturers that can rival the mystique and artistry of Megabass Japan. The care and attention to detail that goes into each of their products from the sculpted lines to the exquisite finishes to the products' packaging is astounding. We were recently afforded the rare opportunity to talk to the driving force behind the company. Here now is our interview with Megabass CEO, Yuki Ito.

Great to hear from the master, and his vision for his company. =D> I wonder when he will visit some Northern California lakes? His Heddon/Megabass lures are some of my favorites.

The man definitely has his own 'X' factor which will always keep the mystique alive, yet he also has
an overwhelming sense of 'calm' as if he knows what he's here to do. Impressive interview - one of
the best for sure. =D>

I would say that perhaps there is another cultural source for that ideal:

Great interview and a nice glimpse into Yuki's world.

Megabass has always been a fascination of mine and much respect goes to Mr. Ito and the excuisite works of art he meticulously crafts.

Fantastic interview, best one I've read so far.
I've never really got into megabass too much. I know they make awesome gear but i always tend to shy away from the bigger names and seek out lesser-known companies.
That interview peaked my interest in megabass. I'm not sure that's a good thing(for my wallet).
Soon as I read it I started researching destroyers & tomahawks... I'm in trouble.
edit: that's it- I'm getting a MB rod this year.

Anyone notice one of the MB guys in the photos was wearing a lab coat? I like that. I like that a lot.

Great insights from an even greater man.

Have to really respect the innovation and dedication he has brought to the fishing industry!
