I'm curious to see how these rods stack up against the rest of the industry. I'm pretty careful with my gear and haven't broken a rod in 15+ years, so I've questioned the value of warranties and often wondered how much I've paid for them. Always thought I would like to have the option to spend money on a rod and not the warranty (JDM doesn't count [-X  ). But...I've started building my own, so at this point I doubt I will take advantage of the opportunity. :-({|=

Interesting, I've only used a warranty once on a rod, but like all things I wonder if I'll break one of these simply becuase it doesn't have a warraty. Or will I fish it less aggrively becuase of fear I will break it. I can't even count the number of times I've had a product (not necissarily tackle) that has broken right outside the warranty period. Looking forward to a review of this rod.
