this looks exciting!

The handle in the last photo looks like a wiebe handle. I have an older MBR843 GLX with the wiebe handle, IMO, one of the most comfortable handle. Very exciting stuff.

I hope they will have a model similar to the MBR-783-2C with a Weibe Handle.
Was planning to get the 783-2c this year but after reading this I had 2nd thoughts.

Do they have a website already ?

Hopefully prices aren't too expensive (sub $350).

I'll hold judgement until I see the rods. I can say for sure that the blanks are the real deal but it always seems there's something about off-the-shelf rods that turns me off. My first hint from the article that I won't be buying one of these was "a mix of REC and Fuji K-Series guides." Maybe Cal could tell Gary that nobody wants Recoils

Building a rod on the edge rods page shows it as a Super Sticker" 15* offset handle.

oh boy... and I thought I was done buying rods...

Very cool.
But like thelatrobe33 said, the guides mentioned was a bit of a turn off. Just slap some stainless steel guides & sic inserts on there and call it a day. (But then again- who am I to tell someone like Gary loomis which components to use lol)
