2 sandeels rigged in twin as shown in utube video and okuma blog appear to have incredible action. Has any tried this combination? with the savage sandeels or other soft plastics?

I saw the tandem rig at the fred hall show... have caught a bass so far on darter heads and plastic worms, can't wait to try it when rockfish season opens...

yes, probably work killer on rockfish if the rig is heavy enough o sink down 30 + feet and still have that dancing action.
