Autopsy: Meshing with Savage Gear's 3D Line Thru Trout

Image

Introduction: Perhaps there is no lure that captures the Angler’s Imagination more than a swimbait. These baits usually closely represent the natural prey of predatory fish, both in profile and swimming action, but it is the hope that anglers will be able to land a monster on one of these baits that makes them so immensely popular. Mads Grosell, the lead designer at Savage Gear, took an actual trout and 3D scanned it to create the new Line Thru Trout’s profile, but like so many of the company’s baits there is more to this bait than what anglers, and fish, see on the outside.

I'm trying to find some myself. I was wondering if you would share with me where you got yours. You can PM if you want, thanks.

Nah man not in a hurry at all, I just want them :) I saw someone on SBN mentioned that they are available and I went on the hunt online, with no success. I'm just a little excited for this bait along with the bigger S-Waver. No biggie really, I'm sure TWH will have them both before ice-out for me so that's still a lot of time. Thanks for the reply though.

Nice!
Might try these for pike and tiger muskie
Hard to find a tough soft bait. Sucks have $25 hudds destroyed with one fish.
How much are they going to be on tw?
Thanks

Someone from TWH posted $17.99 in the comments here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hsk5RWo ... 1388546199 but that was a few months ago so who knows if that price still stands.

And here is another video to stoke you a little more :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ugg-uWQH4iM

I don't know about you, but I've never had good luck with large pike/muskie and large soft lures. The fish have such strong toothy mouths that you just can't move the bait in their mouth to set the hook. Hard baits, spinners, and single use plastics just seem to lead to less frustration for me.

AAAAIIIIGHT dudes, Tackle Warehouse has them in stock now.

*****EDIT**** If you want the slow sink in Light Rainbow then I suggest you don't sleep. They had 4 in stock when I just ordered a minute ago, so 3 left now. I scooped one of each.

Man that was quick, TWH is down to two sink rates in Dark Rainbow. Just a heads up, Big Bass Dreams still has all of the Light Rainbow available as of now, $18.99 a pop.

I got my baits today, pretty slick, especially for the price. I can't wait to get them in some water to see how they swim in person.
