Rapala Canada's Concept of The Search For One

Introduction: Earlier this year, Rapala Canada's Concept Ti Spin 72 stick did very well in its review. Today we take a look at one of that stick's many siblings, and it's actually a two-piece stick. It's not often we get a hold of a fishing rod that's middle to high end in terms of fit and finish, and available in more than one piece. There just aren't that many sticks like that out there, so we're very excited to share this stick with you. Introducing Rapala Canada's Concept Ti Trigger 70.

I have 2 of the original ones . The guide broke off on the grip half of one of them . In my opinion , the guide feet are far too fragile and can easily be bent out of line . When you go to bend it back , it breaks .

Thanks for this review and the previous review.

After finding a store which had them i am currently at 3

casting 7'1" MH xfast 3/8 to 1 (one piece) i used this all season it is a very light rod. swim jigs, weightless flukes, spinner baits all worked well. The rod would transmitted the action/vibration of the lures very notably. I threw a lipless crankbait on this rod but i found it a touch too stiff. It did manage to control a 4+ pound pike on treble hooks.

casting 6'11" Med fast 3/16 to 1/2.. Rapala catalog called this their drop shot rod but the profile and taper seem to be very conducive to jerkbait fishing. Dry land testing of 1/2oz lure did not seem to tax the limits of this rod

Spinning 7'2" Med light 1/16 to 1/2 this is the previously reviewed rod. And it was a statement on that review that had me hunting this rod series down. paraphrase. The reviewer would use this rod as the basis to test spinning reels. pretty decent praise for a CDM or any rod series.

Thanks again.
Trevor

P.S.

Have you seen the new concept baitcasting reel.
