As Versatile as a Pocket Knife? The Reaction Innovations Machete
Introduction: I find it interesting how the soft plastic worm movement has kind of gone the way of the NBA (National Basketball Association). Most anglers are either working in the paint with their finesse offerings for a high percentage bite or their bombing from distance with huge ten inch worms banking on the fact that if they're going to get a bite, it's going to be a good sized fish. Few really bother with the mid-range game anymore of rigging up a six or seven inch curly tailed worm with a pegged bullet weight and pitching it to structure. Instead, this shot has been taken over by jigs, unweighted worms like the Senko, creature baits, etc..
