Nice. The rod brand that started me on this 20 year journey. Last one I owned was from the original Elite Tech Smallmouth series. They served me well until I discovered the dark side.

very cool.

my very first higher end rod was a 7 foot 2 piece Fenwick CoFi 57 MH spinning rod paired with a stradic 4000 reel back in 1997.

at the time Fenwick had launched the CoFi 57 and the Techna AV and they were being made in the USA.

both were great rods at the time.

TRIED fenwick and was not impressed these hope change my mind

Bought one of these and loved it--light, sensitive, comfortable. When they were discontinued, I bought four more in this rod line at clearance prices; they are the best bang-for-the-buck of any rod I've bought. Still use three of them often.

I played with these rods at my local tackle shop the other day and I have to admit, I was impressed.

the elite and world class rods reminded me of the classic Techna AV rods from the late 90s.

my only complaint, and its only a matter of personal preference is the spinning reel seats were top down locking which I cant stand lol
