T3 SV spool problem.

Post by PCSnooker » Wed Mar 26, 2014 11:35 am

I've begun having a problem with my t3sv spool. Occasionally the inductor will get stuck in the "out" position. Any ideas why this would be happening? Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I talked to the service department and they said it could be dry. They suggested lubricating that device. Put a drop or two of oil and move it back and foth spreading the lube around and this should help keep it from getting stuck. Give this a try and let us know how that works. I haven't seen the SV spools, those are part of the T3 series that we do not carry here in the US.

Thanks for the reply. I tried exactly that a couple weeks ago and have yet to experience the issue.
