Pixy Type R discontinued?

Just noticed that TW has the Type R on sale for less than $400.00. Does anyone know if Daiwa is dropping the Pixy from the US lineup?

I don't have any confirmed information, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit. You'd most likely receive the best information posting in the Daiwa Support forum 8-)

X2 is the US version being discontinued, or is a new one coming?
