So what does KP mean? This has always stumped me.

The "KP" designation actually stands for Killer Penguin, we wanted to have a little fun with the name....but the KP products are not a joke they are very serious tackle. We will be releasing all the specifications of the Concept KP soon, and expect the KP rods this summer to be top drawer tackle with the usual 13 Fishing edge.

Tobe honest we haven't finalized the components....I think its fair to assume SIC would be the minimum grade component we would consider. We are exploring a few different choices. Our rod development team is working very hard on this project, and they will get it right.

We have many anglers asking many questions about the specifications and release of both the KP Rods and the Concept KP reels. Expect the final Concept KP images and specifications to be announced in June....we are almost finished with the finishing touches on the reel. The KP rod is getting closer, the actions are being fished hard as we work at getting them perfect. TT Fans will probably get a peak at the rod in the late summer.
