Handle length on Omen Green 6'8" M
I am looking for a good rod to throw topwater lures, everything from spook jrs to super spooks. I will be fishing mainly flats and want a long cast, but I like a shorter handle on my topwater rod so that it isn't constantly bumping my forearm while I walk the bait. I can't decide if I should try the 7'2" M (long casting) or the 6'8" M (shorter handle). Advice?

Steven,
Sounds like a compromise is needed. The 7'2" rod will obviously cast longer due to its extra length, but the rear grip is about 1.5" longer. I personally fish topwater lures here in Tampa FL quite a lot and prefer the 7'2" rod...but everybody is a bit different. I prefer the 6'8" when I'm fishing a baitcasting reel....
