Black Envy Casting Rod

Just purchased a Black Envy Casting rod. 7'4" Heavy. Fished all day with it pulling largies from the junk.

I noticed the real seat would loosen off once in a while, and I would have to re tighten it, sometimes while fighting a fish. Then on a solid hook-set, the real seat just gave and my reel fell out. I was unable to re-tighten the seat and the whole assembly was broke and was free floating up and down the blank.

Any advice?

The retailer would not replace the rod, nor give me a refund. He suggested I try super gluing it myself. Your thoughs?
