Deep spool and inception reel

Q: Does the 13 fishing deep spool fit in the inception reel? (left hand retrieve reel if it matters)

My understanding is that the spools between the Concept and Inception are not swappable but there might be aftermarket spools coming for the Inception via the Trick Shop (not sure if they will be just bling or if there will be performance, shallow and deep).

With that said, the Inception has a much larger spool than the stock Concept Spools. I have 60 lb braid on 2 Inceptions right now, and have more than enough line for frog fishing for example (If I had to guess, I'd say I have about 90-100 yards on them, plus a mono backing). Hope that helps!

thanks for responding and that verify that it doesn't fit. They probably will come out with aftermarket spools for the inception. The idea I had in mind was having a spool or 2 laying around filled with braid copoly or fluorocarbon. So I can just change spool instead of line.

The responses here are all correct EXCEPT....I WOULD anticipate Inception Spools and Star Drags to be available from our Trick Shop Program. Trick Shop components are typically launched a year after the product. This allows enough market saturation to have demand. I wish we could launch immediately, but without potential customers it would be impossible to get the retailers to stock the parts.
