New bearings for my Concept C, advise needed

Hey Guys!

I've managed to bust one bearing in my Concept C (It's been fished heavy and often for years, so no hard feelings at all for the bearing) and now I'm thinking of changing them all...

My question is this:

Is it worth the around 100 USD to get the Ceramic Hybrid from Trickshop?
https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/13_Tric ... HSTRZ.html

Or around 80 USD for the Zero Bearing From Trickshop?
https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/13_Tric ... -TFSZ.html

Or just go with "stock" bearings which has served me and the reel flawless through years of abuse...

Any advice is appriciated!

Tight lines everyone! (please disregard any wierd gramatical or spelling errors, grumpy ol' Swede here  )

Regards Robert

I know this response is late and you more than likely have already replaced them, but I have gotten great performance with Boca bearings and ZPI bearings in my Concept A & C reels.

Robert,

Honestly I love this question....this is exactly why we have options.

Your choice completely depends on your environment and what you want to get out of your reel regarding performance.

Changing your spool bearings(position 1+2) to Hybrid Ceramic will give you major league cast-ability.....as will changing them to our proprietary CZBComp bearings that we have in the Concept BOSS and Concept TXZ.

a CZB set for the Concept C will give you EXTREME durability and very very solid distance...as none of the CZB bearings will ever corrode.

If you choose ball bearings over time performance will degrade with wear and debris....they will eventually need changing. The CZB's won't have this issue.
