which pixy do you like best?

I'am considering on buying a pixy ,but don't know which one to get the airy red or yellow pixy.the red is supposed to have a more tuned spool for light baits than the yellow 2004 model.does anybody that has both notice a difference between the two.jeff

Yellow for me

....they perform the same...just pick a color.

Red is anodized red...yellow is painted.

I love all 3! Go with all 3haha..

Id get orange, but I wouldnt be able to use it and if you call the presso/pixy then all 4!

It's required you have all three. Does Silver count? I don't have it, so it must not.

I've always liked the red and I have one. It actually looks even better in person. If I were to do it all over again, I would choose the red one again.

I have a Pixy Airy red left version that I sent to D.R. for upgrading. The red does look good and the handle comes with bearings. It really has become a goto reel.

You really can't lose choosing any of them.

Havent noticed any difference between the two performance wise. The red is really dull and doesnt shine at all. I find it ugly, to each his own.

The red is painted not anodized like the post above states. Magnesium can not be anodized. The paint on this reel is tough.

The yellow's paint scratches very easy for some reason. I believe there is a problem with the paint it seems soft. Even the area where my thumb goes has worn pretty badly.
