Diamond Illusion is the best I have found.

I have been using it for tippets. A snook wrapped me around a piling and took a jump on the far side. With a lot of pressure, the flyline and tippet actually unwrapped and I released 12 pound snook. The flyline and butt section were shredded, so was the 10 pound tippet but it survived. Good stuff.

Maxima.
Used by delaware river shad fisherman and river steelheaders for it's ability to scrape the rocks and stay together.

Silver Thread Excalibur. 8-)

Also, not too many monos out there. They're all mostly copolymers now.

I use yozuri hybrid (8lb) for river small mouths and absolutely abuse it. I often intentionally cast in front of large boulders and use them as a fulcrum to work topwaters in one spot in the current. I've had a few 20+ fish days this year without retying. I know it's called "hybrid", but this lines a mono as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, I have not used mono is some time, but if you want my quarters worth I would have to pick P-Line CX and CXX.

Some of the lines listed are co-poly...true mono is indeed getting to be a rare find. Also, I did't realize that P-Line owned Sufix? (CXX owns Siege)

I don't fish mono anymore so I don't have a rec., sorry.
