used Chronarch, or new Curado?

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

used Chronarch, or new Curado?

My question is all in the title. I can only afford one of the two. This will mainly be for worms/pitching jigs.

Depends if the Chronarch is the MG50. If the MG50..grab the Chronarch. I love those little reels.

Besides the componesnts, one of the biggest differences in these 2 reels is line capacity. If you are making short pitches, the issue is irrelevant, but when making long casts the Curado handles heavier line better (more line capacity).

I have Chronarch D7's and Curado E7's. I prefer the Chronarchs, but I'd buy a new Curado because their workhorse reels and have more line capacity if you need it.

Which Chronarch. I own a couple 100a's, 100SF, and 100Mg. They cast GREAT. Light lures especially. I also own a few 100B's and those cast well, but they are rock solid and tough. Never fished a 50Mg, but fished similar and those i suspect are awesome as well. I also own a few E7's and E50's. The Chronarchs are def smoother. If i had to rank them, it'd be as follows:

1. E50
2. 100B
3. 100SF/100Mg

sorry to be vague, but I just wanted to get a general idea. I do not own a reel that cost over $115, but sure could use a good one for an empty worm rod a have.
