Have 2!
My favorite reels so far! For reference I have PQ, Steez, 3 TDZ, Lews TP, Lews BB1, Chronarch.
Cabelas near me was selling them for 150!

Wanted to bump this up, I noticed on TW that the 6:3:1 and 7:3:1 helios seem to be on different frames does anyone know if this is the case.

Sounds like a deal, just curious, anyone else think this is their favorite reel, even more so than a Steez? Surprising comment I thoughtsarcazmo wrote:Have 2!

This is because we are already on the 2nd generation of Helios casters. The first generation retailed for $219.99 and shared a frame with the Serrano. The second generation now shares a profile with the Komodo and retails for $199.99.StPaulPike wrote:Wanted to bump this up, I noticed on TW that the 6:3:1 and 7:3:1 helios seem to be on different frames does anyone know if this is the case.
Hope this helps.

Had one when they first came out and I owned Serranos before that. Everything except for the brake system was excellent I did not like the brake dial on those reels. You can find the Helios heavily discounted from the retail of $200 if you look hard enough.
