Good to see you post one D.R.!
Only took another epic crash to get out of the wood work, eh?

Metanium MG7 (JDM core 100mg7). Or my Scorpion 1501 XT with the Avail Shallow microspool. Both will do everything and then some. Probably have to give the slight edge to the 1501 XT, that spool is a great caster and the reel feels more powerful.

Fuego 3000 for me... It's done it all.

Re: Your most versatile reel
Sustain 2500 FG (of the ones I own...Stella 2500FE would be better!) I could toss light or heavy lures with it. Glad I don't have to but if I had to and you made me but I resist but lose and had to use it not by choice but force without say...what the?

2010 Daiwa certate 2500 with the hedgehog ballbearing kit to bring it to max bearings. Stock drag is still great.
Re: Your most versatile reel
Stradic 4000 with 20lb Power Pro, light or heavy it doesn't seem to matter

Ole trusty D7
Re: Your most versatile reel
easy choice, but a little tuff with only one rod!! But I would have to use the Lew's Team or Team Gold if I had to only have - "fun with one" Team is on LXC7MHM the Team Gold is on the LXC610MXF they do 95% of my work. I sold my Core the same week I bought the Team.

After trying Revo, Ryoga, Conquest, Sol/Alphas, Zillion, Ambassadeur, and others. It's got to be my Millionaire Bay Casting Special 103. Freshwater or Saltwater. Heavy Cover or Open water. Light to heavy lures. Tough against corrosion. Parts and upgrades are easy to acquire even for an old reel. There's something about it that really makes me pick it up instead of the others. And I haven't even started upgrading it except for carbontex washers.
