Snook, and others...

Post by PCSnooker » Wed Oct 23, 2013 1:55 pm

all caught on tatula rods and reels spooled with 15 lb power pro. Also... spool and pinion bearings have been upgraded to boca orange seals... better corrosion resistance right?....

Nice cutlass/ribbon fish on a yum money minnow. One of my favorite crossover big fish baits. Mimics a finger mullet almost to a tee.

Got the sail on this lil guy. Tld20 with a greased ht100 disc from a pen ld225 and upgraded power handle on a 7' star handcrafted live bait rod.

And my meager, by forum standards, collection of bait casting gear.

Years of commercial fishing with my pops took its toll. It would stay wet, saltwater, just about all day and the bearings in the frame went out. Lost a drag washer too, bent the handle, and stripped the head of one of the frame screws. That being said everything else in the reel is still in a1 working order and I've got parts on the way to bring it back into service. Great great little reel.

Still waiting for the e7 gearset to become available but aside from the worn out gears she's nearly brand new again. Very durable little reels.
