Sorry if this sounds rude but are you going to "Show" your line up? It sounds very impressive? Any customizations of any kind? Handles, spools, aesthetics?ptorlax18 wrote:So i finally feel that i can comfortably cover every type of presentation that I use and even some don't use that often. Re: My Line Up is finally complete!…yea right..
Like I said the casting reels all have boca bearings in the abec 7 with orange seals
The daiwa certate has a semper fi handle knob, but I didn't even put that on I bought it that way, I am thinking about getting avail upgrades for the chronarch 100D7 to match the DX nicely maybe that orange gold(like the spool already)
The tour KVD is actually with Paul from Pizz Customs getting painted to match the dobyns champion scheme
I had a DX743c but I sold it to buy 2 more champions. What do you use the DX744c for?
I would love the DX795 flip but I just don't flip enough to justify spend that much on it, the 766 has been doing very nicely
Ill get pics up tmrw

Any of these could be replace with a dx744. I don't like the dx743 much, but I do have 2 dx744 on deck most of the time.

I don't flip much, mainly pitching and punching heavy cover with the dx795. It is a deceitfully powerful stick due to the light tip. First time I used it with braided line, I sent a 2lber airborne on hookset.

Awesome setups! Would love to see the pics!
I bought my buddy that QUANTUM SWIMBAIT SPECIAL a few years back for his birthday (we always do a trip up north to celebrate and enjoy the opening weekend of the bass season) and he had it rigged with a senko and his first fish on it was a 6 lb. walleye! It was awesome. Broke the rod sturgeon fishing - not by a sturgeon, but by tripping over it

Re: My Line Up is finally complete!…yea right..
hobobob- yea I bought the dx743 because I love my dx703 so much, but I found I was picking up the 703 more often than the 743, and like I said I put the money I sold it towards two champion series rods. And I definitely see myself upgrading to the 795 in the future. I feel like flippin and pitching is a technique you need to be able to feel every subtle difference and for sure the DX series does that.
rubs96- I actually bought the swimbait special a while back not knowing what I was buying. At the time I needed a rod to make super long casts with a frog(I found a honey hole but it had limited access and the cover was intense) so I came across the swimbait special. Since then I have become a much better caster and my reel performance has gone up so I don't need such a big stick. However I have to many great memories with the rod and the monetary value does not supercede the memories. So it has taken over umbrella rig and BIG swimbait duties, which I don't throw much of either. I does however get a lot of work saltwater fishing. It handles big stripers fantastic as well as blues and fluke. So until there is a mishap like your friends rod, this old girl will continue to ride with me haha
