P Line TCB Teflon Coated Braid
Has anyone tried or at least played with P Line TCB? I'm curious to see if it is good line. I would just buy it and try it but I already have all my reels spooled up and ready to go. Don't feel like stripping some off just to be let down.

Whilst I can not help you with your query, I am sure some-one will. Lots of knowledge on here. However the TT way would be to buy another reel to learn for yourself. only you can really know if you like it or not. The worst that can happen is you end up with a new toy.
Re: P Line TCB Teflon Coated Braid
I just got some TCB 50lb. and TCB 8 30lb. Have not fished it yet, and may not get to until Spring, but I can tell you the TCB 8 is much smoother than the regular TCB. It has almost no texture to it, similar feel to Samuri, Slick 8 or 832...while the TCB does have a little bit of texture/roughness to it, at least in the 50lb that I got.

I'm going to wait until the memorial day sale at TW to get some. Maybe some southern guys can make some comments and reviews before then.
Re: P Line TCB Teflon Coated Braid
I have only used the TCB 8. It fishes just like power pro slick 8. Besides the color I can not tell a difference.

Re: P Line TCB Teflon Coated Braid
What about abrasion resistance? 8 slick is super smooth and supple but it frays pretty easy compared to 832. I have until May to decide (ice out/ main fishing season is May 15).
Re: P Line TCB Teflon Coated Braid
Can not fish till May! Fishing season! That sucks! I am going today and tomorrow. Abrasion resistance is a little better then slick 8. I do not much worry about it because I use a 10 ft or so of mono leader.ccass wrote:What about abrasion resistance? 8 slick is super smooth and supple but it frays pretty easy compared to 832. Ice until mid to late april and the bass, pike amd walleye opener is May 15. Ice fishing is the only way to scratch the itch until then.

Re: P Line TCB Teflon Coated Braid
Got the braid today from TW, its some damn nice braid.
Its actually better then I thought it would be and the 15lb is super thin and slick.
But it has not seen the water yet, that is major part

So far so good. I imagine you are using it for spinning? I wonder how it casts compare to Nanofil? I got 10 lb Nanofil on my pxr and on a spinning outfit. Can't say how much if at all if it helps with distance on casting gear because I got a new spool for it the same time I used Nanofil.

Yeah its going on spinning gear.
There is only one problem I have with the P line TCB is I can only find it in 150 yard spools...

This braid sounds promising. Too bad it's only available in green
