My spool addiction
I have an issue and it is ZPI 002 Mg spools. I started with two, tried them, then sold them. I'm not sure why I didn't like them the first go around, but I ended up buying another eventually and giving it a go. I fell in love with that 002 and a few more came along. Then I decided to start collecting all the colors. It's been a long and tough road to collect them, but I'm complete in my eyes. I fish a lot of these (including four of the five Blue Emblems) and have one of each color set aside for the case. Enjoy and post your own.

Very impressive to say the least.
Sadly, I have none to show off.

Nice collection! You know you're afflicted when you start collecting *parts* of reels.

Hey Ryan,
Any of them you prefer more than the others (as a collector), and any stories behind acquiring all those rare gems?

Re: My spool addiction
As a collector the third row from the front would be "the rare ones". Yes the Blue Emblem is a rare spool, but the GP-T, B2P, Limited Edition, and CT-V (in order from left to right) are the rarest of rare. The GP-T was sold only during the early runs of the spool as I've never seen one with the gold inductor. Theres also two versions of it, one with the black stripe and one without. I dontk now much about the B2P other than it is very rare and seems to have only been made during the later stages of the spool as they all have the ported gold inductor. The Limited Edition is just that, a Limited Edition. It has no color name like the others and shares the same box color as the Blue Emblem. The CT-V or "Club Treasure Violet Sky" is the pinnacle in my opinion. From what I've gathered it was only sold in Osaka at select fishing shops.drewlesch wrote:Hey Ryan,

Most dont have much of a story. Some I got by themselves, some I had to buy entire reels to get just the spool. The CT-V was recently gifted to me by a great friend to complete my collection.
