Agreed, that line guide just changes the whole face of the reel. It looks outstanding
Wonder if that will fit on a alphas sv(and look as good). Non-disengaging LW might pose an issue?

You can put a TDZ line guide on just about any Daiwa reel as long as its not a TWS.

The TDZ line guide doesn't fit an Alphas of any type. The hood is further forward vs. the Pixy. Trust me, I have tried it long ago.

Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Sweet gear. Can't seem to get into the BFS myself. Probably a good thing though. Don't need another reason to spend a ton more.

That is a super sweet combo.
I have been purchasing Daiwa for casters for a number of years now and that gearbox alone may swing me back over for that reel .
It really has smooth gears. I really have tried daiwa, my last was a steez sv. I just love shimano and keep comig back to them.
