why did you go with a spinning tip guide ? on a casting tip guide the brace would be on the bottom ( spinning tip guide the brace is on the top like the one you have ) otherwise , nice rod build

Hi again! This is 3rd time i built this awesome blank. It's absolutely best allrounder what i've ever held or fished with. Northern pike is my main target here in Finland. With lures 1-8oz.

This time i wanted to extend blank a little bit. I've got one cutted blank what was just right od to put it in. Ready rod is now 255cm long, 8'4". Original is 8'. Also wanted to try texalium handle 1st time.

So, laying epoxy inside the blank and put stump inside. Also added arbors for texalium handle.

Here's extended blank with handle tube and Fuji PLS18 reelseat:

I used to use American Tackle NIRLC full titanium guides. In this rod those are with acid wrap. 1st Stripper is 12, then 10 10 and rest 5 are 8 plus 8 top. I chose color theme to match with Daiwa Ryoga 2020. ;)
Thread i used is prowrap tiger wrap 2001 black/white. It turns very nicely after epoxy. Brilliant!

On decal i used glitter 1st time. 1st guide and decal has silver trims. Other guides doesnt have.

Here's handle again. It's 49cm from buttend to middle of the spool.

Thanks,

Pekka K, Finland
