Will the Calais 100A gearset fit Curado 100D?

I have the Curado 100D that I really like but the gears are aluminum and eventually go bad when fished in saltwater. Ive already gone through more than one set already and am using the last set I have. I checked on Shimano's parts site and discovered that ALL the gears for those type reels are discontinued! I thought I read somewhere that the old Calais 100 gears might be interchangeable and are still available. Does anybody know if this is true?

The Calais 100A gears will not work in your reel. Unfortunately all of the different gears that will work in the CU100D model have been discontinued.

I assume that includes my beloved CH50MG's ?

CU100B, CU100D and CH50MG all share tooling and the gears will interchange. The Calais 100A is built with different tooling. The gears will not work in the other reels.
