Yep, great reel. Shimano should bring it to the US. Would probably cost about $350 if they ever do.Bootytrain wrote: Thats a monster reel for the money Too bad mine is stuck in a storage unit

Re: Where are the shimanos?
There's a cousagi works finesse spool for the aldebaran 50/scorpion 1000 xt/ core 50/etc on yahoo Japan actions.
Brand new/old stock, red color. Think it was $100+/-
Rare as hens teeth. Thought about buying it & reselling it here, but figure I'd do you shimano guys a solid and just tell ya about it.
It's not easy to find(cousagi spools never are) so you'll have to put in some work in the searches. Think of it like an Easter egg hunt

This is my first DC reel as well and it has definitely became my new favorite. Wouldn't mind getting one in the HG version as well.Tony9 wrote:My first DC reel. Lovin' it so far!

Yea. It really makes me want to try the 4x8 DC, but my wallet won't allow it.dag3220 wrote:This is my first DC reel as well and it has definitely became my new favorite. Wouldn't mind getting one in the HG version as well.

Thanks for sharing the Scorpion DC reel pics. That looks sweet on your rod. I've been battling the thought of getting one...this may kick me in the butt to do it!
Re: Where are the shimanos?
Got bored this morning so I did a little Shimano only photoshoot.
Re: Where are the shimanos?
No problem. The 6.3 in left always seemed to be sold out, so I had to wait awhile before I got mine. It really is a nice reel. You won't regret it.lmbfisherman wrote:Thanks for sharing the Scorpion DC reel pics. That looks sweet on your rod. Can't go wrong with the citica. These pics makes me regret selling mines.LgMouthGambler wrote:My recently acquired Citica E. This is a BNIB reel. I decided to mod it a bit to give some really nice performance and aesthetic upgrades. Inside I replaced the bushing on the driveshaft with a bearing. Swapped the gears out for CuradoE7 gears. JDM Shimano spool bearings. Carbontex drag upgrade. HawgTech handle and cork knobs. And last but not least, I searched for the Curado200E drag star that is obsolete. Rounded all the parts to switch the drag stars. I use it for frogging with 50lb braid.

Why you trading them?
