Dear Lord that is a beautiful combo.

I need to look into those Exsence reels.

Well paired, I like the matte black and subtle color highlights. Looks "stealthy" ;)

All I have to compare it to is my Vanquish 14 since but it blows the vanquish away in smoothness and retrieve.

Its the smoothest reel I own and love it :big grin:

I hope it stays smooth, my vanquish 14 is still smooth...

So how do you like the addermine? What techniques have you used it for?

I love this rod, I been using it mostly/lately rigged with a ned rig.
But I have used it with for small jerkbaits (lucky craft 65 pointer) shakeyhead and drop shot and it does all well.

Added a ZPI high spec knob in purple to the Excense to match the some of the threading on the addermine.

Nice combo. The original knob looks better, imho.

I usually like the shimano knobs that come on most reels but the stock one kinda sucks on this reel, the feel IMO.

The picture does not do it justice :) the purple actually goes perfect with the threading accents on the rod that is
hard to see in the pic.
