Daiwa spool/reel number breakdown?
Tried reading and associating the differences but has me more lost than ever.
Trying to find a break down of the different numbers for the spools/reels.
ultimately, finding what spool/number does what and which will work in my Steez A TW.
Thank you!

Re: Daiwa spool/reel number breakdown?
Steez reels accept a 34mm spool. There are A LOT of options in this size. So deciding which spool for your Steez honestly comes down to its intended uses.
As for the numbering....
100 sized spools are a deep flat bottom spool
103 is a mid depth v bottom spool (non SV models)
105 is a shallow v bottom spool (non SV models)
1016 is a deep flat bottom
1012 is a mid depth flat bottom
1010 is a shallow flat bottom
SV spools use similar numbering...but they are all flat bottom spools
103 SV is a mid depth
105 SV is a shallow
1016 SV is a deep
1012 SV is a mid depth
The RCS1000 SV comes in both a deep and shallow

Thank you for the break down!
What you say flat /v bottom is that referring to the core of the spool where the line ties to?

Re: Daiwa spool/reel number breakdown?
Just to expand on this last question ---- is there any difference in how they perform (V vs Flat)?

Some people say Magforce Z (Flat bottom) spools are a little more tame. I believe has more to do with the inductor over the spool.tacklejunkie2 wrote:Just to expand on this last question ---- is there any difference in how they perform (V vs Flat)?
