Wait, so are they releasing a new Ryoga or not? I can't make any sense of the translation.

I have been idaly looking at the Ryoga 1016SV lately but was holding off based on the rumor of a new one in the works.

I think the author is disappointed that a new millionaire is not coming out and some of the nuances, perhaps sarcasm, etc., are not translating. I think. I also would be pleased with that new ryoga.

500 bucks. Could probably be MUCH happier with 2 Zillion SV TW's. Refinement isn't an option for me... yet...

Why cant daiwa ever introduse a 300 size reel with magforce z ????????

And this new ryoga does NOT have the t-wing system, so its rather strange that they
introduse it in project t series...

Wonder how it will compete with the Conquest! I wonder what other rods and reels are on their way as well? I know the low speed Zillion but what else? Merry Christmas everyone!

I would prefer t wing and air flow spool design.

I have one and will certainly spend my money on a new one. I love round reels and have several Calcuttas including a couple Conquests. I have a special place for Ryogas and can't wait.

I'll be lined up for another. Great reels that will last forever

500 $ is that the price tag? Or just guessing?
Only a 1016 size or 2020 as well?
Does anyone know anything for sure yet?

It'll probably be around US$400. No one sells at MRRP.
Price is in the same ballpark as the Conquest 100/200.
