Worm gear bearing and collar.
Worm gear bearing and collar.
Anybody know a source to pick up the worm gear bearing and collar? Looking to add them to my TD sols and sv105s. Thanks!

That usually means Daiwa has those parts on backorder and they’re waiting to get them in. TTT is pretty good with keeping their inventory up to date. You can try giving them a call and talk to Bryan the reel tech. Maybe he has 1 or 2 lying around.fishonsc wrote:Thanks but it is sold out.Rippin-lips wrote:https://tackletrap.com/index.php?main_p ... 9d7d8ba9a0
Re: Worm gear bearing and collar.
Was told Daiwa is not making the collar anymore, since it's really a part for the TD-Z line i think which is long out of production. TT is trying to get Daiwa to make them a run, but not sure on if it's going to happen, or when,
However, I called Daiwa parts US and they do have some collars in stock still, as well as the bearing needed. Phone No. is (562) 375-6800 ext 3.
These are part no's for the OG Zillion, Alphas, Pixy, SV103/105, etc...

Curious as to why soo many are concerned about the collar? They dont wear out.

Re: Worm gear bearing and collar.
Makes for a smoother retrieve with the bearing instead of the bushing.LgMouthGambler wrote:Curious as to why soo many are concerned about the collar? They dont wear out.

Yeah, I know, but thats the bearing/bushing replacement. Im talking about the actual collar. You just reuse the old one.fishonsc wrote:Makes for a smoother retrieve with the bearing instead of the bushing.LgMouthGambler wrote:Curious as to why soo many are concerned about the collar?
