Daiwa SV Light
I recently took delivery of my new SV Light from the Plat summer sale, before It arrived I had bling ready for it and it was pimped as soon as I unpacked it.

He oblonged the hole for the line guide screw.LgMouthGambler wrote:I like it! In what way did you modify the TD Z line guide to fit?
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I have it on a Bone Voyage 634L BFS 4 piece rod, using it for 3 to 10 gram baits chasing Australian native species in the tropics.Obz wrote:Sic reel man! What is your intend rod pairing and application?

Re: Daiwa SV Light
I have now added a set of steez 100SH gears to it as the 6.3 wasn't quite fast enough and the 8.1 is too fast for what I want. the 7.1:1 is perfect, the Steez gears are a little heavier but are smoother and have a multi stack drag. I also added a drag clicker from oleg to it as well , very happy with how this reel has turned out.

Not to knock your creation, but why do so many insist upon Steezing up their SS's? I think they look great stock, especially the Light. I say well done, Namiki-san! Domo Arigato!
This is the way.

I like the angle. If I wrap my finger around the front, it fits right on top of the front plate. That's just me, though. That's also why the Zillion TWS palms better than the Tatula. The alphas is similar, too.
This is the way.
