What's next for Shimano???

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Looks like the Scorpion MGL will be a 150 size. A Curado/Scorpion 70 MGL would be a more interesting addition IMHO.

I know this kind of a leap back, but please help me. Am I right in my understanding that the Aldebaran is no longer in production? Replaced by the Aldebaran MGL.

I see they are calling the SLX MGL a 70. It must have a shallower spool compared to our SLX 150.

When are they gonna bring over clicker drag...

Image
Exciting drag sound

Mechanism that drag sounds. It is easy to judge whether or not the fish draws drag, bringing an advantage to the fight with the fish. Also, the refreshing drag sound attracts Angler's heart.

and maybe this too

Image
Normally, the mechanical brake knob arranged on the handle side is moved to the palming side and the body is made compact by bringing the star drag and handle close to the center. Fit and balance improved

Would it really cost that much more to throw x-ship in the slx and the tranx 200 ?
