Good to know, havent even checked the Japanese sites for them yet. All I heard was the rumor that the USDM price could br around $700 and that made me nervous

It's quite possible it will be priced at $600-700 considering Digitaka us usually 15-20% lower than US prices.

TT should do a 1 day contest with users guessing the price. Correct price picks go into a hat and get a prize.

Let's look at some numbers, Diawa Retail vs. TW Retail: For the sake of comparison lets assume the exchange rate is $1=100Y and I will ballpark my %.
Steez A: 46400 Y vs $499 (+7%)
Steez SV TW: 59500 Y vs $549 (-7.5%)
Ryoga 1516: 56300 vs $599 (+6%)
Steez CT SV TW: 58800 vs $??? ($699 would be around a 20% premium)
I think based on history, the price is going to land at $579, $599, or if they follow the way of the Ryoga $629
If I had to pick a number it would probobly be $599.

Whatever the US price, you will be getting screwed if your not buying from a JDM source. Warranty/Shmorranty..

I'm fairly confident you will both be rather disappointed. Just source it from Japan

I think they're calling it a Morethan PE.
This is the way.

If only it had Magforce 3D, I would be selling off some stuff to buy one!

Oh, well, that's true. Forgot about that. That's why I won't part with my T3's.

How often do you or others actually use the 3D settings? Just curious, cause mine never leave the all around.

I adjusted 3D for a fishing day. Several times I had a clear idea what’s the brake profile on different combinations. And then that idea disappeared. And then I got idea again. Then I decided that ‘All around’ is just good. Now I don’t have reel with 3D. And have to say, I’m not missing it. But of course there’s no harm if would be in mine reels. If I don’t like reels braking profile, then I change reel, or spool or tune up inductor.

I remember one day fishing ahead of a thunderstorm. The wind suddenly got gusty, and the T3 MX I was using suddenly backlashed as I faced into the wind. I picked it out, clicked the 3D dial once and never had another problem with the wind. Plus, I didnt notice much difference in casting distance. It is/was a valuable tool. Too bad Daiwa did away with it.
