What size nail weights are you using? I want to give this a try.
Purple is a lucky color to the Japanese. That's why Megabass uses it so much on their 110's. So it makes sense to have purple sheets.
I use 1/32nd oz tungsten weights. The bass pro and eagle claw ones are both great. The eagle claw ones are pagoda style and a little longer.
Bow chicka wow wow!!!
Purple is also a high rank color...in a culture obsessed with rank.

Just putting this one together, waiting on a carbon handle to arrive. I wish ZPI made a spool for this reel.

Got a bit more to go but i put 14# sun line Floro and it comes off nice.
The zpi handles it really well and that’s the first time I’ve put a zpi pg in that reel

Looks beautiful but WHY do you use that beautiful reel as a hook hanger instead of using a hook hanger!!!

I cringed when I saw that pic!
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Cause hookkeeper wasn't finished with epoxy yet.
It rips off.

That Daiwa purple is odd shade. Not much matches up with it. The Megabass Hyuga rods match nicely though. They're easy on the wallet too. I'm a big fan if the 72H. Its the poor man's X4 Destruction.
