I've still got two Sol 2500's and two Fuego Baitcasters. I wish that I hadn't gotten rid of my two Sol baitcasters. They are all timeless classics. My Sol spinning reels have been beat to death, but are still solid. I would still be regularly fishing the spinning reels if I hadn't gotten used to faster ratio reels.
I sold the Sol baitcasters because they weren't fast enough. The faster gear sets weren't available yet. Fortunately, the recent Alpha releases can be had for even cheaper than the Sol MSRP. :big grin: I don't feel guilty anymore.

Just got the Steez RD 701mh/h Hustler technical tune to go with my 7011h jigga stick. The hustler has a Steez A with pg spool, and the jigga stick has a 19 Morethan with a pg spool. The morethan is just sitting on there temporarily. I wanted to test these two reels with the same frame, and different gears side by side with the same weight and technique. Eventually I will put my Steez A back on the jigga stick and the matching steez svtw with a m spool on the hustler. The jigga stick is so impressive, and I have really high expectations of the hustler.
Thanks for looking,
Dom

Nice! I'm waiting on delivery of a Steez RD 701MH and 6101ML, also expecting a Heartland AGS 741MHRB in that same order. Can't wait!

Update: Oops, just realized this was a show and tell post, and all I did was tell.

That’s gonna be a solid shipment right there. I just ordered the 610 last night myself. Enjoy them if the 610 is anything like the 701 I’m gonna be very happy.

Wow, I was suddenly thinking about Sesame Street....."One of these things is not like the other. Come on, can you tell which one?"....lol!
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

No better or worse than rest of the Daiwa reels really, few scratches here and there, but no chipping or real "ugly" spots. That particular reel gets some abuse in jon boats frogging quite a bit. It does it's job very well.

Just threw the new zaion star drags on the steez svtw and Steez A. Svtw has the zpi m spool and Steez A has a pg.

Are those drag stars custom or can be found? I want to replace the junk stock drag stars on my SV105 and SS/SV so bad...
