Looks like it will blow-up plenty of upper Mississippi River smallmouth bass (and eyez); my namesake!

"eyez" aka walleyes.

I absolutely love catching 'eyes on artificials/techniques primarily utilized by bass folks. 8-)

Forgive what might be a dumb question, but I've never fished for walleyes (I've never even seen one in person).
From what I've read they have teeth so you don't lip them like bass.
Do you use the same lines we bass fishermen use, like mono and fluoro?

Yes, same lines plus braid. No need for steel leaders. Their teeth are sharp, but they don't shear line like pike and muskies. Not a dumb question at all.

Here's a small one caught by Shin Fukae on a new bait he was demonstrating for me last fall - the Spro Wameku 70 (ignore the file name)

No Sir! Lol.

As Smalleyez said, braid is really popular amongst walleye folks...a ton of bites will be on the bottom, as opposed to on the drop, so slack line sensitivity isn't as paramount as some bass fishing situations.
