another "what's next for daiwa?" thread
i've been looking for a steez xt 7'mh for a while now unsucessfully. i've now started to think i may just have to bite the bullet and go with an ags, but they are getting a bit more rare on the bay. so i'm wondering are the steez rods maybe getting phased out? i know the xt's have been discontinued although they're still on daiwa's site.
if the past year or two is any indication, the airbeam seat is probably history. that's a shame, cuz that is the most comfortable seat to me.

I hope they the come out with more rods like the M/MH Tatula Ehler rods. I imagine with this whole SV generation, it will happen

I will tell you that the AGS Steez rods are still in production. The 71MH we have on order won't be in until the end of June unfortunately. It's a spectacular rod and in my opinion a significant upgrade over the XT version which is a nice stick... I'm a huge fan of the Steez AGS series and have never been a Steez rod guy until these...Jason Penn wrote:i've been looking for a steez xt 7'mh for a while now unsucessfully. i've now started to think i may just have to bite the bullet and go with an ags, but they are getting a bit more rare on the bay. so i'm wondering are the steez rods maybe getting phased out? i know the xt's have been discontinued although they're still on daiwa's site.

Glad to see your positive feedback Gary, I just received a 7'6H AGS today, I hope to get it out on the water sometime this weekend and put it through its paces.

I see that Daiwa Australia has started to import some of the newer Steez compile x line ... maybe USA will do the same like the Strike Force and the long awaited Harrier Finesse to mate up with the New Steez CT SV.

Re: another "what's next for daiwa?" thread
i've seen some listings on ebay from them. i got a used ags 7'1 mh, and i don't really think i like it any more than the 7'1 h xt i have. i do like the guides though. maybe daiwa will add those to the 7'1 h comp x, i think that'd be pretty cool.

If "CT" is in trend now, then let Zillion CT SV be released.

And I can hardly wait!
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.
